COVID-19
Re: Coronavirus update
We are constantly reviewing the guidance published by the Government and will share any updates that may affect any of our Academies as promptly as possible.
What parents/carers need to know about schools during the Covid-19 pandemic
Academies remain open but in the event of a partial closure of a bubble or a child isolating at home whilst waiting for test results, we will continue to support your child/ren and we will continue to help them to learn.
If we have to continue education remotely:
- In the event of isolation or temporary Academy closure, all children will be sent home with work and equipment to complete during their absence from the Academy.
- Academy websites will be updated regularly with further work by staff and appropriate links to home learning software and the use of YouTube channels and other approved social media
- Teachers can be contacted by their Academy email address during school hours i.e. 9.00am to 3.30pm.
- In the event of a child isolating, teachers will respond to any queries when they have finished teaching
If your child usually receives free school meals we will also be in touch with more information about how we will continue to provide this.
In the meantime if you have any concerns or would like to get in touch about anything please contact your Headteacher.
Thank you again for your continued support,
